INDEPENDENT SAP DELIVERY

Independent SAP experts
who stay and do the work.

We come into SAP programmes that have drifted from what was sold, establish what’s actually happening, then stay and fix it. Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Integrations.

WHY WE EXIST

The SAP you bought should be the SAP you receive.

The buying journey is usually well run. The demos land, the business case stacks up, the executive team is convinced. Then the deal closes, delivery begins, and much of the thinking behind that decision doesn’t arrive with it.

Scope logic gets lost. Presales assumptions are never tested. Integration is discovered rather than designed. Months later the business is being asked to accept a system it didn’t agree to buy, against a timeline nobody planned for.

We’ve worked on both sides of that handover, shaping and selling SAP programmes, and delivering them. This company exists because we kept watching the same thing happen.

01

Context doesn’t survive the handover

What was promised during the sale rarely reaches the people configuring the system. The customer becomes the only continuous memory in their own programme.

02

Integration is discovered, not designed

Enterprises typically spend 150–300% of their annual SAP Integration Suite licence value on services across three years. Very little of that is visible at the point of sale.

03

Advice stops before the work starts

Independent reviews tell you what’s wrong. Then the same team that caused the problem is asked to fix it.

01

Review

We establish what is actually happening, not what the status report says.

02

Fix

We stay and do the work: design, configuration, integration, testing, cutover, go-live.

03

Hand over

Your team ends the engagement more capable than it started, including on AI.

AI & SAP

We use AI to do the work. Then we teach your team to use it too.

AI has changed what an SAP programme actually costs to run. Specification, documentation, test design, data mapping, integration analysis, training material, the effort behind all of it has fallen sharply, and we’ve rebuilt how we deliver around that.

The part that matters more is the second half. During the programme we bring your finance, supply chain and IT people onto the same tools, applied to their own work, so the capability is still there after we’ve gone.

COMMERCIALS

We put a defined part of our fee on the outcome.

Conventional SAP delivery is billed on time and materials, with a management layer, a project management layer and contingency on both. You pay the same whether the programme lands or not.

We work differently. A base fee that covers the work, priced below conventional consultancy rates because there is no pyramid to carry, plus a component tied to defined, evidenced outcomes, an integration accepted, defects below an agreed threshold, cutover criteria met, capability demonstrably transferred.

We won’t take outcome risk on things we can’t influence. Where the result depends on your data readiness, another vendor’s dependency or a decision still to be made, we’ll say so and price that scope conventionally.

We don’t earn it

unless you get it.

WHO WE ARE

A small number of people who have done this for a long time.

APTRIQ is senior-only. Everyone who works on your programme has spent a decade or more delivering SAP across finance, manufacturing and supply chain, for SAP partners, for systems integrators, and inside businesses.

Between us we’ve worked with most of the large and boutique partners in this market, on both the selling and the delivering side. We know how these programmes are shaped, how they’re staffed, and where they come apart.

We are not an SAP partner. We don’t resell licences and we take no software commission, so nothing we recommend is influenced by what it earns us.

No pyramid.

No bench.

No commission.

EXPERIENCE

Members of the APTRIQ team have delivered SAP programmes for a FTSE-listed manufacturer, Banks & Financial Services Institutions, a global engineering and technology group, and a leading international media company, alongside several mid-market businesses across Finance, manufacturing, distribution and services.

These engagements were undertaken by APTRIQ consultants during their individual consulting careers, in some cases before APTRIQ was formed or through other consulting organisations. They do not imply endorsement of APTRIQ. Detail available under NDA.
